This handout covers how to include seasonal crops (winter greens) in a safe way on dialysis. The handout gives basic nutrition facts, notes the amount and type of greens appropriate on dialysis, a medication interaction note for those on Warfarin, and describes several ways to use winter greens in the kitchen. The companion worksheet includes an overview of how to set SMART nutrition goals and a place to write goals with the help of their RD.
