Many of our clients/patients have to eat outside the home or on-the-go for whatever reason it may be. These guides provide lower calorie options at some more common restaurant establishments. The list is broken down into breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals. All nutritional information for menu items were obtained through restaurant websites’ provided materials. These choices are not all appropriate for everyone, many are not low fat, low sugar, or low sodium. These items were merely selected based on calories and protein content. This list is not comprehensive, but it is a great starting point for someone who has to eat out. I provide this list for weight management purposes; usually in my first few sessions to slowly ease the individual into healthier eating practices.
