This excel sheet can make calculating your clients needs instantaneous and simple. By entering in age, height, weight, and body fat percentage you can see:
- BMI
- Ideal and adjusted body weight
- Estimated resting energy expenditure using Harris-Benedict, Mifflin St Jeor, Katch-McArdle, and Cunningham equations for both males and females. Additionally, the Harris-Benedict will automatically use adjusted body weight if the person is greater than 125% of their ideal body weight
- Daily energy needs using a variety of activity factors, calculated based on the average of the four predictive equations!
- Carbohydrate and protein needs (normalized to body weight)
- Macronutrient calculations for three different energy intakes (useful when people may or may not workout on a given day)
- Kcal/kg and kcal/kg/FFM calculations
