Getting Started with Nutrition Coaching

Who is this for?

This resource is for any RD eager to get started with a virtual private practice but isn’t quite sure what the flow looks like.

On the left hand column there is the Client’s point of view of how sessions 1-4 may go.

On the right hand column there is the Dietitian;s point of view of how sessions 1-4 may go.

What is it used for?

Use the guide to help you formulate an initial month process with your client. This is just framework to help get you started and you may individualize your process based on your expertise, setting, niche, etc.

Where do I use this?

Use this AFTER you have made the sale to the client. This material is for the dietitian’s use although you may find benefit in giving to your client as well if you find you like this flow and use it.

When do I apply these steps?

If you sell a 1 month coaching option and you meet 1 time a week, do each step once a week. For example step 1 is the initial consultation and happens week 1 or session 1.

Why do I need this resource?

This might help you visualize exactly what to do in your first months of nutrition coaching and boost your confidence because now you have a plan.
