Positive body affirmations are effective at improving body appreciation and acceptance.  The goal is for the positive body thoughts to replace negative body thoughts, but often clients have difficulty coming up with affirmations of their own. This long list of body affirmations can be given to clients as a prompt for them to identify the affirmations they would like to repeat to themselves.  Another idea would be to have clients cut out the phrases and tape them around so that they will see the positive messages throughout their day.
