This chart can be used to support clients in identifying safe and fear foods and exploring the level of enjoyment they actually get from eating those foods. This is a helpful tool to use with eating disorder clients, especially when beginning to talk about incorporating fear foods or experiment with tolerating distress when eating different foods. It is a tool that you can come back to each session in order to develop weekly goals and challenges. The chart can be added to over time, and foods can be moved around as they become safer or more/less enjoyable.
